You know what they say: A picture is worth a thousand words.
That’s why we’re working with the Transformation Project SD, Sioux Falls Pride, and local professional photographer Luke Larsen Videography, to offer LGBTQIA Two Spirit people and their families an opportunity to take a portrait that shows the pride in who they are.
Whether you identify as LGBTQIA2S+ or as an ally, your voice matters.
Your story matters.
And it can help change people’s hearts and minds about LGBTQIA2S+ people in South Dakota. Because despite the remarkable gains LGBTQIA2S+ people have achieved in recent years, we still have work to do to make sure that everyone can live openly without discrimination and enjoy equal rights, personal autonomy, and freedom of expression and association.
