Session Confessions, is an evening of no-holds-barred conversation designed to give real answers to real questions about what really happened during legislative session in Pierre.
While criminal statistics are important to identify trends in criminal activity and aid in crime prevention and enforcement efforts, the ACLU of South Dakota says the stats also highlight the need for criminal justice reform in South Dakota – particularly when it comes to drug-related offenses.
Because Senate Bill 189 passed, the ACLU of South Dakota is currently weighing all options to ensure the First Amendment rights of South Dakotans are upheld.
